While the University of Mississippi has portrayed some Purple provider qualities in the past, it has not taken ownership of them fully. UM should go beyond the expression of a welcoming institution to proclaim stories of how it invests actively to ensure each person sees and realizes their true potential. The market is unclear about the Purple nature of UM’s story so by staking claim to it in a more emotive and passionate nature, the market will take notice and laud its deep sense of care.
